Description

Canvases, Grids, and StackPanels, oh my! These and other panel controls form the backbone of layout in XAML-based programming environments, and each type of panel arranges its children in a different and useful way. But understanding how layout works in XAML requires getting a good feel for how different types of elements and controls size themselves in different types of containers. Among the core elements explored here are Image, Rectangle, Ellipse, Border, TextBox, ComboBox, and Slider. The video concludes with two case studies showing common Grid patterns in real-life scenarios.
