Careful planning is required to move an application from on-premises to Azure. Planning an app migration starts with a discovery-and-assessment phase to understand everything that needs to move to Azure and what components might need to be remediated as well. In part 2 of our series on Azure app migrations, you’ll learn how to execute discovery and assessment. Then you’ll get acquainted with some of the tools provided by Microsoft to assist in assessments for apps, databases, and virtual machines.
